Artist Collective Being Formed

 CALL TO ARTISTS 

What: Formation of an Artist’s Collective, centered on the creation, promotion and advancement of outsider, unconventional and otherwise, outlaw art.

 Where:  The Reno area and associated areas, including Tahoe, Sparks, Carson City.  The identification of the collective will be associated with Reno. 

Who:  Visual and performing artists, technicians applying technology to creativity, costume makers, performers, video and computer graphic artists, illustrators, sculptors and more.  People who are making, designing or conceiving unconventional applications, media or presentations of art.

 When:  Whenever it seems, feels or is otherwise right.

 Why:  Collaborative networking.  To serve as an informal network of artists who can share skills with others, broaden our opportunities, increase capabilities, generate interest in outsider arts, and create our own venues.  Increase identification of Reno as an upcoming outsider/outlaw arts community. 

• There are no membership fees, no membership card. 
• You get out of it what you put into it
• Collaboration makes us larger than the sum of our parts
• Collectively, we can be leaders.  We can help each other, while we help Reno broaden its identification as a progressive arts community
